Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: In cold weather if the instrument panel (IP) pad is not at room temperature. Warm the IP pad around the air outlet deflector. This will allow the IP pad to become pliable for removal of the air outlet deflector.
  1. If you will reuse the existing air outlet deflector, wrap the ends of the needle nose pliers with tape in order to avoid marring the surface of the air outlet deflector.
