Removal Procedure

- Remove the instrument panel (IPC) cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - IP Cluster .
- Grind the material from the heat stakes at the base of the air outlet deflector housing.
- Remove the air outlet deflector housing from the IPC trim plate.
- Using a small flat-bladed tool, disconnect the sides of the air outlet deflector housing.
- Open the air outlet deflector housing in order to expose the air outlet deflectors.
- Remove the air outlet deflectors from the housing by pressing out from the front to the rear.
