Shock Absorber (S4WD): Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the upper shock nut (5) and the bolt (6) from the frame bracket. See Fig 1 .
  3. Remove the lower shock nut (1), the washer (2), and the bolt (3) from the axle bracket.
  4. Remove the shock absorber (4) from the vehicle. See Fig 1 .
