Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT - UPPER  .
  2. Remove the fuel pipe clip bolt and the clip.
  3. Remove the fuel feed and the fuel return pipes from the fuel injector rail. Refer to FUEL RAIL & INJECTORS in Engine Performance - Removal and Installation.

  4. Remove the oil pump drive bolt.
  5. Remove the oil pump drive clamp.
  6. Remove the oil pump drive.
  7. Remove the oil pump drive seal.
