Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor: Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove engine cover. Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. MAP sensor is located on top center of engine. See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove MAP sensor from intake manifold by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion. Remove and discard MAP sensor grommet.
