Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Removal

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness connector. See Fig 1 . IAT sensor is located in center of engine compartment, behind air filter housing. Pull upward on IAT sensor to dislodge sensor from air cleaner outlet duct.
