Removal Procedure

- Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER .
- Grind the material from the heat stakes at the base of the air outlet deflector housing.
- Remove the air outlet deflector housing from the IPC trim plate.
- Using a small flat-B laded tool, disconnect the sides of the deflector housing.
- Open the deflector housing in order to expose the deflectors.
- Remove the deflectors from the housing by pressing out from the front to the rear.
