Removal (3.5L)

Turn ignition off. Remove the Throttle Position (TP) sensor connector. See Figure. Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve. See EGR VALVE under EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS. Remove the TP sensor mounting bolts from the TP sensor. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body. Remove the "O" ring from the TP sensor. Discard the "O" ring.
