Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor: Installation

Connect the electrical connector to the MAP sensor. Apply a small amount of lubrication to the MAP sensor grommet. Install the MAP sensor to the intake manifold. Keeping the injector sight shield as level as possible, place the rear of the shield under the mounting bracket. Align and press the injector sight shield onto the mounting studs. Install the mounting nuts onto the mounting studs and tighten nuts.
Apply a small amount of lubrication to the MAP sensor grommet. Install the MAP sensor to the intake manifold. Install the cable bracket and bolts. Tighten bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect MAP sensor harness connector.
