Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Remove the fascia close out panel. Refer to CLOSE OUT PANEL - FRONT BUMPER FASCIA LOWER  . 
  3. Remove the wheelhouse to front fascia bolts.
  4. Remove the front fascia to energy absorber bolts.

  5. Remove the front fascia to skid bar bolts.

  6. Reposition the bottom of the fascia outward and up.
  7. Slide the cooling duct rearward off the fascia opening.
  8. Remove the brake caliper cooling duct from the wheelhouse panel.
    1. 8.1. Rotate the duct.
    2. 8.2. Align the duct locking tabs with the slots in the wheelhouse panel.
    3. 8.3. Pull the duct forward out of the wheelhouse panel.
