Removal & Installation (3.1L & 3.4L)

Turn ignition off. Remove the bolts that attach the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor to the bracket. See Fig 1 . Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor. Disconnect the MAP sensor inlet vacuum hose. Remove MAP sensor from the bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten MAP sensor retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
