Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hanger reinforcement, if necessary.
  2. Install the push-on retainer, if necessary.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the muffler hanger and nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the muffler hanger nuts to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  4. Install the muffler. Refer to MUFFLER REPLACEMENT - LEFT  or MUFFLER REPLACEMENT - RIGHT .
