No Reverse

The following are possible causes and corrections for this condition:
- The input shaft assembly pinion pins are damaged or walking - replace input shaft assembly.
- The input shaft assembly pinion gear thrust washer(s) are damaged or worn causing excessive end play and interference with other components - replace input shaft assembly.
- The input shaft assembly has a broken tooth - replace input shaft assembly.
- The reverse clutch hub assembly is damaged - replace reverse clutch hub assembly.
- The reverse clutch hub thrust washer is damaged or worn - replace reverse clutch hub thrust washer.
- The reverse clutch backing plate is damaged or splines are worn - replace reverse clutch backing plate.
- The retaining ring for the reverse clutch backing plate is broken or damaged - replace retaining ring.
- The reverse clutch plate assemblies have worn splines or friction material - replace reverse clutch plate assemblies.
- The retaining ring for the reverse clutch spring assembly is loose, damaged or not holding - replace retaining ring.
- The reverse clutch spring assembly is damaged or worn - replace reverse clutch spring assembly.
- The shaft splines on the variable drive pulley assembly are worn or damaged - replace the variable drive pulley assembly.
- The variable drive belt assembly is damaged or broken - replace variable drive belt assembly.
- The manual valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace manual valve.
- The forward and reverse clutch valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace forward and reverse clutch valve.
