Fluid Leaks At Case Cover Assembly

The following are possible causes and corrections for this condition:

The case cover assembly is porous or damaged - replace case cover assembly.
The case cover bolts/screws are loose, cross-threaded, or stripped - tighten/replace the required bolts.
The anaerobic seal between the case cover assembly and the case assembly is inadequate or too narrow - apply a new bead of anaerobic sealant.
