Conditions For Setting DTC

DTC will set if, the TCM has detected either an open, a short to ground or a short to power on ratio control motor A2 circuit for more than 0.56 seconds when:

Ignition voltage is 8-18 volts.
Engine speed is greater than 500 RPM for more than 5 seconds.

DTC P1884 diagnostic runs continuously when the above conditions have been met. P1884 is a type "A" DTC.
