Diagnostic Aids

This DTC may be set by an intermittent short or open in the battery circuit to the TCM. Inspect for an intermittent short to ground or open between underhood fuse block harness connector terminal D1 and TCM harness connector J1 terminal No. 20 by connecting a test light. Wiggle the harness while observing the test light to locate the fault. If no circuit problems are found, replace and reprogram the TCM. Also, check loose terminal connections.
