Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC MODULE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT  .
  2. Remove the defroster actuator tie strap.
  3. Remove the defroster actuator.
  4. Remove the heater door linkage.
  5. Remove the HVAC case retaining screws.
  6. Separate the HVAC case halves.
  7. Remove and discard the case seal.
  8. Remove the heater door.
