Diagnostic Aids

To locate an intermittent problem, use scan tool to monitor HO2S2 voltage with engine idling at normal operating temperature. Bias voltage (425-460 millivolts) will appear on scan tool if there is an open anywhere in sensor circuit.

Voltage on each circuit, Purple/White wire and Tan/White wire, with HO2S2 disconnected and ignition ON should read 4-6 volts.
