Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Locating Transaxle Brace Bolts (LY7)

Install the transaxle brace.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the transfer case brace bolts (1 and 3) and nuts (2).
Tighten
- Tighten the transfer case brace bolts (1 and 3) to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Tighten the transfer case brace nuts (2) to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
