Installation Procedure

  1. Install the park brake cable to the backing plate.
  2. Install the park brake cable to the park brake actuator.
  3. Install the park brake left side cable to the park brake equalizer.

  4. Adjust the park brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment (Disc)  or Park Brake Adjustment (Drum) .
  5. Install the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement in Drum Brakes.
  6. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
