Installation Procedure

  1. Install the tie rod.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the tie rod nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the tie rod nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

  4. Install the tie rod bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the tie rod bolt to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).

  5. Adjust the rear toe angle. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
