Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat back recliner to the seat.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the recliner seat back bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  3. Move the seat back cover and pad over the seat back recliner bolts.

  4. Install the cable to the seat back recliner.

  5. Install the cable retainer to the seat back recliner, pushing down on the retainer until fully seated.
  6. Install the outer trim panel to the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat (Bucket)  or Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat (Split Bench) .
  7. Install the inner trim panel to the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Panel Replacement - Rear .
  8. Install the rear bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bucket .
