Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the KS electrical connector.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the KS and the knock sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the KS bolt to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

  3. Install the KS electrical connector bracket and the bracket bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the KS electrical connector bracket bolt (2) to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
