Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP purge pipe from the vehicle.
  2. Install the EVAP purge pipe to the retainers.

  4. Connect the chassis EVAP purge pipe to the fuel tank.
  5. Lower the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the EVAP purge hose to the EVAP purge valve and the intake manifold.

    Tighten:  Tighten the EVAP purge hose bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the EVAP purge pipe to the intake manifold.

  11. Install the EVAP purge hose to the retainer.

  13. Connect the EVAP hose to the purge line near the throttle body. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
