Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying EVAP Hoses And/Or Pipes

Install the EVAP canister.
Connect the EVAP hoses/pipes to the EVAP canister.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the EVAP canister bracket and the EVAP canister nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the EVAP canister nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the EVAP canister bracket nut.
Tighten: Tighten the EVAP canister bracket nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Prior to VIN 4S558922 (100mm Sender)) or Fuel Tank Replacement (VIN 4S558922 and Later (130mm Sender))
