Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Fig 1: Locating Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Electrical Connector

    IMPORTANT: Do not disconnect the power steering fluid lines/hoses from the reservoir.
  3. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (2).

  5. Disconnect the CMP sensor bolt.
  6. Remove the CMP sensor.
