Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CMP actuator valve.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the CMP actuator valve bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the CMP actuator valve bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the CMP valve electrical connector (2).
  6. Install the power steering pressure hose bracket and nut as necessary. Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement (LA1) or Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement (LY7) in Power Steering System.
