Test Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The numbers below refers to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
- 3: This step attempts to repeat the condition that set the DTC.
- 5: This step attempts to repeat the condition in the engine wiring harness.
- 6: This step determines if a condition exists with the PCM or TFT sensor.
DTC P0711 (3.4L)
| Step | Action | Value(s) | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Engine Controls? | - | Go to Step 2 | Go to Diagnostic System Check - Engine Controls in Engine Controls - 3.4L |
