Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LA1) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LY7) in Engine Electrical.

  3. Remove the underhood accessory wiring junction block cover.
    1. Release the retaining tabs (1).
    2. Remove the underhood accessory wiring junction block cover (2).

  5. Disconnect the positive battery cable.
    1. Remove the nut (1).
    2. Position the positive battery cable (2) aside.

  7. Remove the underhood accessory wiring junction block.
    1. Loosen the wiring harness retaining bolts (1).
    2. Release the four underhood accessory wiring junction block retaining clips (2).
    3. Lift the underhood accessory wiring junction block (3) out of the mounting bracket.
    4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    5. Remove the underhood accessory wiring junction block (3).
