Glow Plug Controller and Glow Plugs Installation

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the glow plugs to the right cylinder bank.
Tighten: Tighten the glow plugs to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Install the glow plug harness to the right cylinder bank (1 California, 2 Federal).

Install the glow plug power feed wire to the right cylinder bank.
Install the glow plug harness nuts to the right cylinder bank.
Tighten: Tighten the glow plug harness nuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the glow plugs to the left cylinder bank.
Tighten: Tighten the glow plugs to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Install the glow plug harness to the left cylinder bank (1 California, 2 Federal).
Install the glow plug controller.
Install the glow plug controller nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the glow plug controller nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Install the glow plug power feed wire to the left cylinder bank.
Install the glow plug harness nuts to the left cylinder bank.
Tighten: Tighten the glow plug harness nuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
Install the glow plug harness bracket bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the glow plug harness bracket bolt to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the intake air heater connector.
