Exhaust Pipe Installation - Left

    IMPORTANT: Position the exhaust pipe gaskets with the tabs as shown. Failure to do so will cause improper alignment of the gaskets and result in exhaust leaks.
  1. Install the exhaust pipe with gaskets.
  2. Install the exhaust pipe to turbocharger bolts.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the exhaust pipe bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft) in the proper sequence.

  6. Install the exhaust pipe heat shield.
  7. Install the exhaust pipe heat shield bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the exhaust pipe heat shield bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
