Engine Front Cover Removal

Tools Required 

J 37228  Seal Cutter

  1. Remove the crankshaft position sensor bolt.
  2. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
  3. Remove the crankshaft position sensor spacer bolts.
  4. Remove the crankshaft position sensor spacer.
  5. Remove the O-rings from the crankshaft position sensor and spacer and discard.

  7. Remove the engine front cover bolts.
  8. Separate the engine front cover from the cylinder block using J 37228  .
  9. Remove the engine front cover.
