Drive Belt Tensioner and Generator Mounting Bracket Removal

Tools Required 

J 25034-C  Pulley Remover

1. Remove the crankcase ventilation hoses from the valve rocker arm covers.

2. Disconnect the crankcase vent hose from the engine block.

3. Remove the fuel injection control module harness bracket nuts (1).
4. Remove the fuel injection control module harness bracket (2).
5. Remove the schrader valve (3).
6. Remove the schrader valve bracket (4).

7. Remove the right idler pulley retaining bolt.
8. Remove the right idler pulley.
9. Remove the left idler pulley bolt.
10. Remove the left idler pulley.
11. Remove the tensioner pulley bolt.
12. Remove the tensioner pulley.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
13. Remove the vacuum pump pulley using J 25034-C  - California Emissions.

14. Remove the vacuum pump bolts - California Emissions.
15. Remove the vacuum pump- California Emissions.
16. Remove the drive belt tensioner and generator mounting bracket bolts.
17. Remove the drive belt tensioner and generator mounting bracket.
