Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Remove the exhaust heat shield nuts (2) and heat shield (3) from the dash panel.

  4. Remove the left exhaust pipe heat shield bolts.
  5. Remove the heat shield.

  7. Remove the exhaust pipe bolts in the proper sequence.

  9. Remove the exhaust pipe and gaskets.
  10. Discard the gaskets.
