Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  3. Install the transmission mount to the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Lower the transmission.
  5. Install the transmission mount to the transmission support retaining nut or nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut or nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  6. Remove the transmission jack.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
