Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission range selector cable bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the transmission range selector cable bracket bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Align and install the cable to the bracket.
  6. Install the retainer that secures the cable to the bracket.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Check the vehicle for proper operation. If cable adjustment is necessary, refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Cable Adjustment .
