Removal & Installation

  1. Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove nut retaining engine wiring harness bracket to intake manifold stud near EVAP canister purge solenoid on right side of engine. See Figure . Remove engine wiring harness bracket from intake manifold mounting stud.
  2. Disconnect EVAP canister purge solenoid pipe at the EVAP canister purge solenoid and secure aside. See Figure . Disconnect EVAP canister purge solenoid harness connector. Remove EVAP canister purge solenoid mounting nuts. Remove EVAP canister purge solenoid from intake manifold mounting studs.
