Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the AWD vehicle engine mount to the frame bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the AWD vehicle engine mount to frame bolts to 59 N.m (44 lb ft).
Install the RWD vehicle right side engine mount, the bolts, and the nuts to the frame.

Tighten
- Tighten the engine mount to frame bolts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).
- Tighten the engine mount to frame nuts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
Install the engine mount bracket to the engine.

Install the engine mount bracket bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts to 64 N.m (47 lb ft).
Lower the engine.
Install the engine mount through- bolt and the nut.

Tighten

Tighten the engine mount through-bolt nuts to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).
Install the starter. Refer to STARTING SYSTEM in Battery.
Install the right fender wheelhouse extension. Refer to WHEELHOUSE EXTENSION REPLACEMENT in Body Front End.
Install the right front tire. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Battery.
