Installation Procedure
- Install the knee bolster brackets to the vehicle.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the bolts that retain the brackets to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to the brackets to the instrument panel carrier to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the instrument panel to the vehicle. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT .
- Install the bolts that retain the brackets to the instrument panel trim pad.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts that retain the bracket to the instrument panel to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the driver's knee bolster. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - LEFT .
