Lubricant Replacement - Front Drive Axle: Installation

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the drain plug and the washer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the drain plug to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  2. Fill the front differential with lubricant. Use the proper fluid. Refer to CAPACITIES - APPROXIMATE FLUID and FLUID AND LUBRICANT RECOMMENDATIONS in Maintenance and Lubrication.
  3. Install the fill plug ad the washer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fill plug to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
