Parking Brake Cable (Front): Removal

  1. Release parking brake.
  2. Remove the cowl side panel trim.
  3. Remove the step trim plate.
  4. Remove parking brake pedal.
  5. Raise and support vehicle.
  6. Loosen parking brake cable at the adjuster.
  7. Remove front parking brake cable from parking brake cable adjuster.
  8. Remove front cable from pedal assembly.
  9. Lower vehicle.
  10. Roll carpet back to remove the cable and grommet from the body.
  11. Remove cable from vehicle.
