Disc Brake Hardware (Front): Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels.
  2. Remove wheels.
    3. CAUTION: DO NOT disconnect hydraulic brake flexible hose from caliper.
  3. Remove front brake caliper from mounting bracket and support brake caliper with wire. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPER .
  4. Remove disc brake pads from disc brake caliper mounting bracket.
  5. Remove disc brake pad retainers from disc brake caliper mounting bracket.
  6. Inspect disc brake hardware.
  7. Remove caliper pin boots from disc brake caliper mounting bracket.
