  1. Use the Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit (J-42450-A) to clean all rust and contaminants from the mating surface of the hub flange.
  2. Use the Rotor Resurfacing Kit (J-41013) to clean all rust and contaminants from the inside diameter of the hat section of brake rotor to prevent any foreign material from getting between the brake rotor and hub flange.
  3. Install rotor by slowly turning rotor while pushing rotor towards the axle.
  4. Install the caliper and bracket as an assembly to vehicle.
  5. Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch. Clean bolt threads with brake parts cleaner and allow to dry. Apply Loctite(R) to bolt threads.
  6. Install caliper bracket mounting bolts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. Install wheels.
  8. Lower vehicle.
  9. With engine OFF, gradually apply brake pedal to about 2/3 of its travel distance.
  10. Slowly release brake pedal.
  11. Wait 15 seconds, then repeat brake application until a firm pedal is obtained. This will properly seat brake caliper pistons and brake pads.
  12. Fill master cylinder reservoir to proper level with clean brake fluid.
