Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left cowl side trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - COWL SIDE in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the screws that retain the hood release lever to the cowl side trim panel.

  3. Remove the hood release cable from the hood latch. Refer to HOOD LATCH RELEASE CABLE REPLACEMENT .
