Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fender to the body.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fender to the body bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  3. Install the front wheel house extension. Refer to WHEELHOUSE EXTENSION REPLACEMENT .
  4. Install the front rocker cladding. Refer to CLADDING REPLACEMENT - LEFT ROCKER PANEL , or to CLADDING REPLACEMENT - RIGHT ROCKER PANEL in Exterior Trim.

  5. Install the hood to the fender nut and bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut and bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  6. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  7. Install the screws retaining the windshield frame filler panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the impact bar. Refer to IMPACT BAR REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER .
  9. Close the hood.
