Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE in Body Rear End.
  2. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the wiper arm from the wiper motor. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  4. Remove the nut, the spacer, and the seal.
  5. Remove the 2 bolts and the wiper motor from the liftgate.
