Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  2. Remove the radio antenna mast. Refer to FIXED ANTENNA MAST REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT in Body Front End.
  4. Remove the antenna cable mounting bolts.
  5. Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO REPLACEMENT .

    Important:  Do not remove the instrument panel.

  6. Roll the instrument panel back. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  7. Remove the antenna cable from the clip at the HVAC module.

  8. Remove the antenna through the grommet on the cowl.
  9. Remove the antenna cable from the vehicle.
