Park Brake Cable Mounting Bracket: Installation

  1. Install the park brake cable mounting bracket.
  2. Install the park brake cable mounting bracket bolt. Tighten the mounting bracket bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the rear cables to the mounting bracket by inserting the cable till all the retaining tabs snap into place.
  4. Install the park brake equalizer. See PARK BRAKE CABLE EQUALIZER .
  5. Adjust the park brake. See PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
