Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (PICKUP) or HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (UTILITY) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the straps that retain the wiring harness.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  4. Remove the screws that retain the sunroof motor/actuator (1) to the sunroof assembly.

    Important:  Do not move the sunroof mechanism while the motor/actuator is not in place.

  5. Remove the sunroof motor/actuator from the vehicle.
