2	Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Turn ON the radio. Does the radio operate normally?	Go to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTIONS	Go to Step 3
3	Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the radio. Test the gain control signal of the radio for an open. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING andWIRING REPAIRS . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 4
4	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connectors of the radio and audio amplifier. Refer to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTIONS and CONNECTOR REPAIRS . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 5
5	Replace the audio amplifier. Refer to Amplifier Replacement (Base) or Amplifier Replacement (Denali Yukon) or Amplifier Replacement (Denali Suburban) or Amplifier Replacement (Escalade EXT) . Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 6	-
